If I had oil-prone skin, I would probably give this primer product a 6-star review! It applies smoothly and evenly, and feels nice on the skin. Bonus that there are no allergic reactions. However, I have mature skin, but also very dry skin. Since this is a “matifying” primer, it doesn’t give enough to make the loose mineral foundation stick, or even melt, into my skin the way a mineral foundation should. I wish the product was better suited for dry skin. I try to compensate and alternate between either pure argan or coconut oil applied just before I use this primer and although not perfect, it’s an adaptation that seems to improve on the primer not feeling like it ends up too dry.
I ordered the primer, mainly to use as an eyeshadow primer, as I am allergic to all eyeshadow primers that I have tried. It does not bother my eyes, but my only complaint is that too much is dispensed with a single pump.
I found out that I'm allergic to dimethyl which was causing excema around my eyes. Dimethyl is in almost everything I was using and I'm so grateful that I found Omiana. I'm excema free for the first time in 3 years!! Thanks for your amazing products!
