Thanks for asking - we love to share our story and connect with our customers! Omiana is a small, family owned US business. We’re an independent, boutique brand that is obsessed with the craft of making awesome natural makeup and skincare for the ingredient savvy.

Can I find Omiana in stores?

Currently we are available online only. We understand that online shopping can be a land for the brave, which is why we have such a friendly Exchanges & Returns Policy in place for you!

Can I purchase a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card in the following values: $15, $30, $50, $100, $150


If one of these values doesn't fit what you're looking for, you can purchase multiple gift cards in a lower denomination for a custom amount. The gift recipient can use multiple gift cards at checkout.

What if I don’t want to receive promotional emails?

What are the benefits of creating an account?

There are many benefits to creating an account on Omiana.com! Keep track of your product favorites by building up your wish list and even send your wish list to others (birthday ideas? Hey, give your loved ones a gentle cue as to what Omiana goods you'd like!); easily access your previous orders; when you checkout, after creating an account, relevant information will be pre-populated to save you time.

Can I add a product or change my order?

Due to our current system, once an order is placed and submitted we are unable to remove, add, or modify the contents. If you ordered an item you don't want, we have a great return policy!

Can I apply multiple discounts to my order? Why is it not applying?

Our site allows one promotional code per order. These codes include the loyalty points, percentage discounts, limited-time free shipping codes, and gifts with purchase. If you have a gift card or store credit, that code can be combined with 1 additional promotional code.


Our discount codes will only apply to full-priced merchandise and will not apply to already discounted products such as gifts, bundle sets, etc.

How do I track or check the status of my order?

You can track your order anytime in the Help Center, which also appears as a chat window on each page. 


When you place an order with us, you will receive an automated confirmation email with your order number and summary of your fabulous new purchase! Get excited: Omiana is now on its way to you! After our team has filled your order, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email from us. This contains a link with your tracking number.


Please log in to your account to access all your order details and tracking information. 

Can I cancel my order?

We accept cancellation requests as long as the order has not shipped. New orders are sent electronically to Fulfillment almost instantaneously and it's not always feasible to stop an order once it's with the warehouse. Please contact us through the Chat tool and we'll do our best to cancel if possible.

Can I receive a receipt for my order?

We have sent you a receipt after the payment was processed. If you didn't receive it, please check your spam folder. If you need another copy, please start a chat.

How secure is Omiana.com?

Your best shopping experience and maintenance of your privacy is important and, rest assured, protected when you shop with us. A few ways we protect your privacy include the following: Utilization of a private Secure Sockets Layer (SSL); regular security scans; a dedicated IP address; log monitoring; PCI compliance; and our secure payment gateway. We will not sell or disclose your private information: any information we garner from you is strictly for Omiana's goal to provide you with healthy beauty products. Shipping & Delivery

How do I file a claim for lost, stolen, or broken orders?

If you selected Guardia1 shipping protection at checkout you have peace of mind package protection for all of your orders. With Guardia1 you don't have to worry about what to do if your order is lost, stolen, or broken. Simply visit this link to file a claim, and Guardia1 will process the reorder your item(s). Once your claim has been submitted, a member of our team will coordinate with you to get a replacement order made for you within 24 hours.

Tracking says my order was delivered, but I haven't received my order.

Please check with your neighbors, your mailbox, inside an open garage, beside a bush, etc. Occasionally your mail carrier will accidentally mark things as delivered before they actually make it to their final destination. Generally, if an item says it was delivered but hasn't shown up yet it will arrive within 48 business hours.

How long does order processing and shipping take?

We typically fulfill your order the same day or the next business day. During high-volume days it may take up to three days to fulfill orders, Monday through Friday. This means that your order will ship-out approximately one to three days after it's placed. Transit times vary based on your location and the shipping method you chose at checkout. Economy shipping takes 4-8 business days within the USA. International orders take 10-30 days depending on the option selected. Faster options are available for an additional cost.

How much are international duties?

Duties vary based on location - please contact your local customs office for more information.


Duties on international orders are assessed and paid to your local government and unfortunately are beyond our control.

Returns & Exchanges

How do returns & exchanges work?

You can send product back within 30 days of your order date for a refund to your original payment method (return) or receive store credit through an Omiana electronic gift card (exchange). Return shipping costs are on us for domestic exchanges (within the USA). Product can be gently tested!


Please assure at least 90 percent of the product remains, we have to discard the product of course, but this is one way our supporters demonstrate regard for this friendly policy.

What products are ineligible for returns?

We accept new and gently used products, but cannot accept returns and exchanges for products that are more than 90% used.

Products returned when purchased with an eGift Card will receive store credit.

As always, Omiana stands by our products, but once you receive your shipment in perfect condition, any damage that happens on your end will not be eligible for a free replacement. So if you spill a serum or crack a container – we totally feel your pain! Our Customer Service team will be happy to help you place another order, but we can't offer to replace that product for free.

How do I exchange items (Domestic USA Customer)?

We keep returns and exchanges simple for you. You can send the product back within 30 days of placing your order as long as at least 90% of the product remains. Once you submit your exchange request on our Return Center, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed almost instantaneously, once the returned package is received, store credit will be emailed to you in the form of an electronic gift card code.

How long does it take to receive my refund?

When sending an item back to our warehouse, once received please allow up to 30 days for our warehouse to receive and process your exchange or refund. You will receive an email notification letting you know your refund has been processed.


You will receive store credit in the form of an electronic gift card in your email. Refunds to your bank account may take up to 30 days to reflect.

What if I want to exchange for a different shade or product?

Return the product and simply log onto omiana.com and place a new order for the replacement product at your convenience. Use the re-shop code to access your store credit at checkout.

Is it easy to send back items?

Once your info is submitted, you'll receive step-by-step instructions and a prepaid shipping label via email.

Can I get my shipping cost refunded?

While we will give you a full refund for your product, unused or gently used, we are unable to refund shipping costs.

How do I receive store credit and how do I use it?

For Exchanges, Omiana issue a store credit in the form of a digital gift card. The gift card is simply a code to be used as a form of payment at checkout. The gift card balance can be used on future product orders. No fees and they don't expire. 

I returned an order. Where's my credit?

When sending an item back to our warehouse, please allow up to 30 days for our warehouse to receive and process your exchange or refund. You will receive an email notification letting you know your refund has been processed.

Are your products safe during pregnancy and/or nursing?

Omiana offers the best array of ingredient omissions. These products are formulated for those with sensitive skin. We would never use any harsh detergents, synthetic chemicals, chemical preservatives, artificial fragrances, or any other toxins in our products. While many of our customers are still in their formative, developing years, and many women come to us because pregnant and cognizant of ingredients, it's our professional duty to ask that you defer to your healthcare provider about any specific ingredients to avoid.

Is Omiana safe for young adults or those with a specific condition?

Because Omiana does not contain detergents, chemicals, artificial fragrances that can irritate the skin, and offers the best array of ingredient omissions, these products are formulated for those with sensitive skin. While many of our customers are still in their formative, developing years and many women come to us because pregnant and cognizant of ingredients, it's our professional duty to ask that you defer to your health (doctor, midwife) provider questions or concerns.

Can I use Omiana if I'm undergoing a specific treatment?

Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are ingredients common to mineral makeup and known anti-inflammatories. We offer some products without titanium dioxide but with zinc oxide; some with titanium dioxide but no zinc oxide; and some products without either. It is essential for healing skin to be protected from the sun, though, and both titanium dioxide and zinc oxide also offer natural sun protection. Minerals can also provide coverage, to varying degrees, and soothing properties. Regarding application after treatments, whether skincare-geared or that focused on treating a disease/malady, it's our professional obligation to ask that you defer to your health provider.

Are Omiana products tested on animals?

Omiana does NOT test on animals - not our raw ingredients or finished formulas. We're proud to be certified by PETA and Leaping Bunny.


Leaping Bunny leads the cruelty-free makeup standard and holds certified companies accountable. PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, has certified Omiana as cruelty-free as part of their commitment to preventing animal cruelty and testing.

Is Omiana organic?

When possible/applicable, Omiana uses the highest percentage of Certified Organic ingredients possible. Some ingredients cannot be certified as such, though, such as vitamin E, which is not available in an organic form (do pay attention to where the vitamin E comes from, though--e.g., wheat germ, which makes many company's 'tocopherol'/vitamin E non-gluten-free? Soybean? Rice bran? Tocopheryl acetate? Etc.), and non-agricultural products, such as minerals (which are inorganic by nature). The end result is that our products are as non-toxic as it gets, albeit 'organic' is not always relevant.

Is Omiana gluten-free?

Omiana does not use gluten, not even via our vitamin E. If there is ever a trace amount, we will disclose so in the product description. Additionally, most products are vegan, albeit some contain beeswax. Please note, we carry one skincare product that contains Quaternized Wheat Protein (this one) that you may want to avoid out of an abundance of caution if you are sensitive to wheat/gluten.

Is Omiana vegan?

Most products are vegan, albeit some contain beeswax. ​When we use beeswax, it is kosher. In only a few formulas we use beeswax to achieve the perfect consistency - yet breathability - for that product. Omiana abstains from pesticides, chemicals, and non-kosher ingredients, from mica to beeswax; the bees' natural ecosystem is sustained with our USA-based supplier's kosher harvesting.


All products are cruelty-free: the raw ingredients and finished formulas, certified by PETA and Leaping Bunny.

Does Omiana use nanoparticles?

No. All minerals and pigments Omiana uses are cosmetic-grade particle size or even high-micron.

Is Omiana hypoallergenic / non-clogging?

While we wish a magic formula existed that was perfect for everyone's skin type, tone, and needs, we all have different ingredient requirements, preferences, and even ingredient beliefs. Here at Omiana, we pride ourselves on offering an array of USA-crafted formulas, such a pure collection that you are sure to find a perfect go-to formula - or a whole makeup bag full of formulas. 


Omiana is a brand rife with truly hypoallergenic makeup, including options without coconut oil, titanium dioxide, butters, waxes, mica, boron nitride, and more. Omiana is crafted to be gentle on even the most sensitive, reactive skin, omitting ingredients such as fragrance, parabens, talc, gluten, and much more. While we all have different ingredient needs and preferences, Omiana surely has products perfect for you!


Regarding non-comedogenic makeup and even "chemical-free makeup," a concept that is often thrown around too frequently, there are no regulated testing methods to make formulas qualify. At Omiana, we encourage discovering which ingredients your skin loves and which truly bother: what clogs one person's pores or makes someone react may be wonderfully moisture-imparting or nourishing to another: You've surely also noted that we can react to seemingly "good" ingredients: finding the formulas for your skin is a journey, and we are here to help.

Why do I see a specific ingredient in one product but not another? Isn't your mission to omit as many ingredients as possible?

Our customers come to us with very specific ingredient requirements. We omit ingredients popular to other mineral makeup lines, even, albeit know that not every product is not for everyone: Ergo a huge variety, with various makeup ingredients taken out.


For example, if you prefer makeup without mica, we have it. We also have makeup without titanium dioxide, although understand some do want titanium dioxide for SPF and coverage, which is why we now offer products with it, too. Needing zinc oxide-free? That's even an omission option at Omiana. Many of our customers are sensitive to soy and wheat, common sources of naturally derived vitamin E; for this reason, while we use naturally derived vitamin E in plenty of products, we do also use tocopheryl acetate.


Every formula cannot be for everyone, as much subjectivity and varying preferences come into play. We aim to offer the purest array of formulas for the most sensitive skin and ingredient-discerning people. 


Using the sidebar filter to narrow down collections so they contain the ingredients you prefer is a simple way to shop on Omiana. Also, we fully disclose all ingredients on each product page and in the ingredients page.

Is Omiana fragrance-free?

Yes. Omiana does not use any artificial fragrance, perfume, or chemical fragrances, which are potential sources of endocrine disruptors. Any aromas detected are created merely from the ingredients themselves.

Are Omiana products tested for [SPF / nickel / heavy metals / etc.]?

As a small privately held company, our focus has been on expanding our formula and shade range, and we look forward to gaining more certifications. Note; please review the ingredients list for any product. All Omiana ingredients are carefully selected & sourced to be free of toxic heavy metals. One indicator, we never use talc (an often-contaminated ingredient of nickel & heavy metals).

Does Omiana have EWG or other ingredient ratings?

If Omiana is non-toxic, why are reactions possible?

As you know, anyone can be allergic to anything, even amazing-for-us ingredients can cause reaction in some. Probably you know somebody who is a testament to this fact, someone who is allergic to antioxidant-rich strawberries or omega-loaded nuts. We have heard of people being sensitive to touted ingredients like organic aloe, rice powder, and even coconut oil - it happens! If you believe you've reacted to any amazing ingredients in an Omiana product, please let us know. Remember - we accept back even gently used product for return or exchange.

Oils within some Omiana formulas? Aren't oils / butters / waxes clogging?

Organic oils can be perfectly fine - even nurturing - for the most reactive, sensitive skin. Organic oils can even still be non-comedogenic. Omiana uses light, breathable organic oils that do not clog pores or cause breakouts. These select oils harmonize with the skin and even help regulate sebum production by way of "training" layers of skin.


Oil in makeup and skincare is not inherently bad. Synthetic oils such as mineral oil and petrolatum and petrochemicals artificially clog skin and pores with a non-breathable barrier that clogs pores.


This is not to say that some people do not react to seemingly good oils or butters, such as coconut oil, shea butter, fruit wax, and the like. Our bodies and needs are incredibly dynamic, and what might impart moisture to one person might be a true irritant to another. A portion of our savvy supporters cannot tolerate coconut oil while another segment loves it: you and only you can truly learn to discern what your skin prefers vs. what it does not (even allergy tests and experts can have flawed findings).

Which Omiana products do not contain ultramarines / iron oxides / titanium dioxide / zinc oxide / mica / etc.?

As far as ultramarine is concerned, it is used in only a few Omiana products to achieve a specific tone/undertone (E.g., purples, blues). To view products in a collection that are without ultramarines, just click 'no ultramarines' in the filter. Then, the collection will display only products without it. Shop all titanium dioxide-free makeup here, mica-free products here, and continue to utilize the filter to sort out more ingredients you may prefer to do without.

Are samples available?

Samples are available for a selection of Omiana products. Sign up to the Omiana newsletter to receive information about promotions and discounts including free samples. 


Feel free to add multiple quantities or shades to your cart and choose a few among each range if desired. Each sample comes with approximately a tad of product. This lasts a few applications, on average, but individual rates of usage per application vary. The sample container will be partially filled. Please evaluate in natural light for your best assessment of each shade. Samples are final sales - no returns or exchanges.

Do I have to enroll or register in individual rewards points promotions?

Once you register for an account, you're all set – we don't require you to register for individual promotions in order to be eligible. Just fulfill the requirements of a promotion, and we'll post the points to your account immediately!

How long will it take for rewards points to post to my account?

You should receive points in your account instantly once you complete a promotion!

Do my rewards points expire?

Nope! Your points will never expire.

What happens to my rewards points if I make a return?

When you return an item, you lose the associated credit you originally earned by buying the item in the first place.


Sound kind of confusing? Let's take an example: let's say you had previously spent $50 towards a 'spend $100, earn 500 points' promotion, and you decide to buy a $20 item, which bumps you up to $70. If you decide to return that item, your progress would also go back down to $50 – it's just like you hadn't bought the item in the first place.

Can I use my points and a discount coupon in one order?

We are sorry but you can only use either the points or the discount coupon in a single order, due to some systems limitations.

I'm very close to earning a reward. Can I buy extra points to get there?

We currently require you to have enough points to redeem any of the awards you see listed on the Get Naturally Rewarded! tab.
